Leopard Springs Tented Camp

Tucked away in the heart of a vast, untamed wilderness, Leopard Spings Tented Camp offers an intimate and authentic tented safari experience. This is a place where nature takes centre stage, where the rhythm of the wild sets the pace, and where every moment is steeped in adventure.

Opened in August 2025, our four spacious, fully furnished tented rooms are designed to ensure comfort for our guests whilst not deterring from the wildness of the Mutara landscape. Guests are provided with the authentic experience of the Kenyan wilderness, from its bird songs to its calling lions, without compromising the comfort expected of an East African tented safari. Our open-air en-suite bathrooms bring a unique symbiosis with the natural beauty of the landscape. Traditional bucket showers warmed upon request, pair perfectly with the soft morning breeze, whilst our modern flush toilets ensure the comforts of home without compromising the camp’s classic off-grid appeal.

The camp is centred around an inviting dining and sitting area, where the essence of the African safari experience comes to life. Our dining area perfectly blends the atmosphere of a family dinner with quality meals, lovingly prepared by our experienced kitchen team, capable of warming any chilly evening! All our home-style meals are prepared with fresh, local produce from trusted suppliers, allowing us to support local communities whilst guaranteeing the quality our guests come to expect. All meals are served buffet style around a central table, where our trained hosts and waiting team are present to ensure all needs are met, allowing conversation, laughter and stories of the day's adventures to flow freely over a drink of choice. Our cosy mess tent accommodates the perfect space for relaxation, while the outdoor fireplace is the ideal setting to finish the evening with drinks and stories under the stars.

In partnership with Graeme Lemon, our camp boasts over sixty years of combined experience in unique, hand-crafted safaris throughout the continent. Our guides are expertly trained and share unbridled passion and knowledge of the natural world. We believe that every adventure is a unique opportunity to connect, to connect with our team under a magical firelit evening or to connect with nature itself, in which we are blessed to be surrounded.

The camp accommodates one large group or, if hosting a couple/singles, a maximum of two groups at a time.
